By removing the organic waste and left over foods, bacteria can not multiply. Our ingredients will purify your water, making it clean of dissolved byproducts and crystal clear. Our Chemical Filter Media removes pollutants from your water that biological and mechanical filter media cannot.
Our Aquarium Chemical Filter Media will remove offensive odors, and will clarify your cloudy and murky water. Removes pollutants and organic compounds produced by various biological processes, pollutants in the air, heavy metals, copper, metal ions, nitrate & ammonia. Dr.G's Aquarium Chemical Filter Media filtration capacity is superb and has none to minimal impact on trace elements.
Dosage and Directions:
Our Aquarium Chemical Filter is packed in a media bag, which must be placed unopened in your filtration system. The contents have been thoroughly rinsed in RO/DI water, to remove any dust. Rinse prior to use. Keep the media bag always closed so the purifier does not escape into your aquarium system. Place the media bag directly into your filter, canister, sump or refugium, in a high flow area. One Aquarium Purifier media bag treats 50 gallons of water, should last for a few months, but must be replaced by a new one, if your water is not crystal clear or your ammonia / nitrate levels start to rise.
